Matthew 19:13-15
Jesus
Loves the Little Children
19:13 Then
little children were brought to Jesus for him to
place his hands on them and pray for them. But the
disciples rebuked those who brought them.
14Jesus said, "Let the
little children come to me, and do not hinder them,
for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as
these." 15When he had placed his hands on them, he
went on from there.
This
is the Word of the Lord ... It is meant to change
the way that we think, and the way that we live.

The Little Children and
Jesus
"Jesus loves the little
children, all the children of the world. Red and
yellow black and white, ..."
Most people who've ever been
in church as a child (or maybe adult) know the
words to this simple song. But, what does it really
mean?
Why did the disciples rebuke
the parents for bringing their children to Christ?
I can't explain the exact reason but, during the
time of Jesus, children were hardly considered
human beings.
For example, if a child was
of the wrong gender or afflicted at birth the
parents would sometimes take them to the deep
forest and leave them to die. This was the society
Christ was dealing with.
So, Jesus said basically to
bring the lowest of the low to him as the helpless
ones will inherit the kingdom of God.
Jesus loves little children
because of their innocence and
helplessness.
He wants us to come to him as
little children and we will have the gift of
eternal life.
I believe the main point to
remember here is for us not to let "religion" and
"knowledge" stand in the way of our humbling
ourselves before God and accepting Jesus Christ as
our Lord and Savior.
If we are not careful we can
actually die from pride. Don't let pride stand in
the way of your abundant life.

Satan - The Unpardonable
Sin
-
Large crowds
began following Jesus after they learned of his
miracles and great healing power. Some truly wanted
to follow him and repent, some were just "part of
the crowd" out of curiosity and some, like the
Pharisees wanted to try and trap him as they had
attempted many times before. What is the
