Mark 16:12-14
Jesus
Appears to Disciples
( Easter Story
)
16:12
After that, He appeared in a different form to two
of them while they were walking along on their way
to the country.
13 They went away and
reported it to the others, but they did not believe
them either.
The Disciples
Commissioned
14 Afterward He appeared
to the eleven themselves as they were reclining at
the table; and He reproached them for their
unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had
not believed those who had seen Him after He had
risen.
This
is the Word of the Lord -- It is meant to change
the way we think, and the way we live.

Disciples See the Risen
Christ
Suppose someone you knew died
- you attended the funeral, and then someone told
you they saw the deceased at a restaurant. Would
you believe them? This question puts the situation
of the risen Christ into perspective for the
disciples. It was incomprehensible that Jesus could
be alive after being crucified (the Romans were
very good at putting people to death).
Knowing - Knowing
of
Of course you've heard of
Jesus - just about everyone who lives in
civilization has. But, only knowing about him is
not the same as really knowing him.
In order to become a
Christian, we must be willing to believe that
Christ died and rose on the 3rd day to save us from
sin. We can't have the motivation to share the news
with others until we have a personal
relationship with the Savior.
Let's trust him so we can be saved by
him.
HAPPY EASTER!
