Gives the Great Commission

16:15
He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach
the good news to all creation.
16
Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but
whoever does not believe will be
condemned.
17
And these signs will accompany those who believe:
In my name they will drive out demons; they will
speak in new tongues;
18
they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when
they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at
all; they will place their hands on sick people,
and they will get well."

This
is the Word of the Lord ... It is meant to
change the way that we think, and the way that
we live.

The Great Commission of
Christ
These passages are the
foundation for the growth of the Christian church.
Also, Jesus' commission is
the force that drives missionaries into sometimes
hostile regions of the world to bring the Good News
of Jesus Christ to those who have not yet heard
it.
Let's stop here for a moment
and think about the definition of a
missionary.
One dictionary description
says: "One who is sent on a mission, especially one
sent to do religious or charitable work in a
territory or foreign country. "
If we accept this definition,
a missionary is not just a person who teaches the
Gospel in a foreign country (especially) but it
could define you when you have the
opportunity to share your faith with family
members; coworkers; a neighbor in need;
etc.
We are on mission no matter
where we go or what we are doing. A call to
ministry is not just standing in a pulpit.
Remember what Christ
commissioned us to do and pray that he gives us the
boldness for this task.
The great commission is meant
as an action, not just something else to
read.
