people about the coming of Jesus. The good news

- Read what happens when Jesus is baptized in the
Jordan River by John the Baptist. Is there a reason
for Jesus stepping into the water? Find some

1:12-13 - Jesus Can be Tempted by Satan
Too! -
At the beginning of His ministry, Satan tempts
Jesus in the desert and the angels attend His

story including the lives and faith of the men who

that tax collectors, and sinners like Levi need
"healing" just as we do.

- Yet another battle between Jesus and the
Pharisees is the interpretation of Jewish law.
Religious leaders were quick to grab every
opportunity to catch Christ in a crime, including
this one concerning working on the Sabbath.

Sabbath
- Jesus heals a man's hand on the Sabbath and the
Pharisees are livid with anger as their authority
and power are taken away. So much so that they
cannot see the Messiah before their eyes.

Jesus which changed the world forever. This study
