"You shall not murder."

is the Word of the Lord ... It is meant to

The 10 Commandments of
God - The Sixth Commandment
There has always been much
controversy surrounding this fifth commandment.
Some would say not to ever
kill any living thing but most agree that murder is
the subject of this verse.
This is also the commandment
we use sometimes to justify our other sins. "I've
never murdered anyone." we may say which, I hope,
is true for the most of us.
So, our other little sins of
stealing (from the government?), adultery (lusting
in our minds after a pretty face on the street?),
lying (just the little white ones) don't seem as
great when we look at the serial killer on
TV.
Remember that in God's eyes,
sin is sin.
Romans 3:23 states; "for all
have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, "
which is the reason we all need forgiveness for our
sins and can find that forgiveness through Jesus
Christ if we just ask and accept.
