without Meaning Or, Success and
Joy

A man can do nothing better than to eat and drink
and find satisfaction in his work.
This too, I see, is from
the hand of God,
25
for without him, who can eat or find enjoyment?
26
To the man who pleases him, God gives wisdom,
knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives
the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand
it over to the one who pleases God.
This too is meaningless, a
chasing after the wind.
This
is the Word of the Lord ... It is meant to change
the way we think, and the way we live.

Enjoy the Work
God Gifted You to Do
Each day we have on this
earth is a gift from God.
Lee Travino, a famous
professional golfer, was once asked how he was
doing that day and Lee replied, "I'm above the
ground." Well, each
morning when we wake up, we should remember that
some people on this earth did not awake.
Drop Out of
Society?
Not to say that we should
quit our jobs and live as if there is no tomorrow
but we should take each day we have, thank God for
giving it to us, and live it with the enjoyment God
gives instead of just going to work to accumulate
more money or possessions.
Fear or
Success?
Workaholics work out of fear
while successful people work out of joy. Finding a
job you look forward to each day is a true blessing
from God and allows you to enjoy each day and the
outcome of our labor.
This lesson points out that
there is no need to toil and work at a job we dread
so we can accumulate wealth just to pass it along
to someone else who didn't earn it, and many times
don't deserve it.
God Gives Everything -
Owns Everything
God gave us the wisdom for
all we do and a relationship with Him gives more
success than all the money in the world. After all,
He owns it. Solomon was
said to be the wisest man in the Bible and he gives
an excellent example for us to follow here. Seize
the day!!
