Ecclesiastes 10:5-7

while princes go on foot like slaves.

Using Talents and Spiritual Gifts for God

As Solomon has stated many times in Ecclesiastes, life is not fair. Sometimes we see those with wisdom in low places and people who have no common sense in charge of nations. Ah..... that's life in todays world.

Why is Life So Unfair?

It just does not make sense (at least not to us) that the world is in this condition and people are treated unfairly. Living in America, I take for granted many of the freedoms I have - and opportunities this country has to offer. In the meantime, there are children starving in countries of which I can't even pronounce the name. Is this fair? Why should I be blessed with all this except for the grace of God?

What does King Solomon Say about the Fairness of Life?

Solomon says that wisdom alone cannot bring about a fairness so it has become a fact of life.

Hope

But, don't despair! No matter how much or how little we have, whether it is wealth, time, fame or wisdom, God can use it to further His kingdom.

When we allow God to use what we have, and use it in a loving spirit, a small amount turns into all we could ever need or hope for. Are you allowing God to use the talents and spiritual gifts you have? Remember, a little goes a long way when God is at the helm.
