How Wise are You?

Do you consider yourself a wise person? Most of us do most of the time. But, have you ever done things that were not wise (smart)? We've all done this too!

God Makes Us Wiser

In this passage for Bible study we learn that wisdom is acquired when we know God and consult Him before we make decisions. When we are able to see life from God's point of view we will be able to make wiser decisions in our lives.

I've had many days in my life where I had a difficult decision to make. Amazingly, the Bible study lesson I prepared for this site that very day was relevant to my situation. God knows exactly what you and I need at a given time.

Is It Wise to Pray?

How do we talk to God and find what choices we should make? Prayer is the answer. If we ask for God's guidance in decisions doors will open which will lead us to do His will in our lives. A footnote is that the decisions God helps us to make are not always the ones we would make ourselves but we will be much wiser if we listen to Him. And remember;

God is never in a hurry and,

God is never late.

The Wise Have Understanding

Trusting and having a relationship with God will help you and I to have more understanding and, with understanding, comes wisdom.

The way to knowing God and developing that relationship comes through His Son, Jesus Christ. You can choose to accept Christ as your personal Savior and then ask what God wants you to do. This will not only help you achieve wisdom, but you receive everlasting life with Him in heaven. Let's become wise men and women.
